As shown in Figure 11, excavators later placed excavation units over the area of anomaly 2 outlined in the data map above, and uncovered Feature 4, which consists of the foundation remains of a mid-nineteenth century house.

The area of a high distribution of surface artifacts and of an anomaly near the large black and white dipole in the southeastern corner of Block 7, Lot 1 in the data map above was also tested by excavators, who placed an excavation unit over that area, as shown in Figure 9. That excavation unit uncovered Feature 3, which consists of stone foundation remains of a late-nineteenth century house.
